This is a fresh and energetic chenin showing sliced apples, chopped herbs and citrus rind on the nose. Medium-bodied, crisp and very clean. Sustainable.

Chenin from South Africa is surely among the most delicious of the world’s relatively affordable whites, and this is a strong case in point. Scents of wild honey lead into ripe notes of apple pie filling that are lightly sweet but effectively balanced by a firming edge of citrus acidity. Excellent as a standalone sipper but also promising for many spicy dishes.
